Do you know what's ecology??? If the ground is polluted than plants can't grow. Then Primary consumers will be all die. After, Secondary consumers will be all die either. Then, decomposers will be all die. So you can think ecology is like food webs or food chain. Now, you'll have questions what's primary consumers and secondary consumers and decomposers. Primary consumers are animals who eat plants. Secondary consumers are animals who eat animals. Decomposers are animals who eat only dead animals. Humans are in primary consumers and secondary consumers. It is because we eat vegetables and meats.
